The RYA Safety boat course focuses on equipment participants with the skills and knowledge to provide safety cover for various watercraft, particularly sailing sports, paddle sports, and various other waterbased activities. The two-day course includes both theoretical and practical sessions, covering boat handling, rescue techniques, towing, ad safety procedures. Its designed for those who are competent in power boating (Powerboat level 2 minimum) and want to extend their skills to include advanced safety techniques and fleet safety.
